SUSTAINABILITY

At FiberSprung, we believe in sustainability. The materials within our fiberglass grid are chosen to have an over 30 year use life, and all of our floors are designed to be disassembled and moved without losing any of their spring! Protect your flooring investment with FiberSprung. Wooden sprung floors and most foam squish floors cannot easily be moved without damage. These are installed in a building permanently, becoming a part of the building and cannot be moved with a studio owner. Every time one of these floors reaches the end of its use life, the floor becomes garbage.  FiberSprung stands by our fiberglass grid design with a 20 year warranty, and offers services to help our customers relocate or even resell their floors if needed. We believe that your floor can be a capital asset which can follow you from studio to studio for years. Please protect your investment and use our sustainable technology rather than other options such as foam which rapidly degrade over time.

CONSISTENCY

FiberSprung subfloors are consistent from Day 1 to Day 3001. The fiberglass within a FiberSprung floor is designed for bend and is nowhere near its ultimate failure load. This allows the composite materials to retain their material properties. Take care of your joints for years with a FiberSprung floor. Wooden sprung floors can vary from area to area as each piece of wood is different. FiberSprung engineers tested wood used in sprung floors, and found wildly different bend between different pieces of wood, meaning a floor can spring differently over different areas (see our Process page for more information.) Wooden floors also slowly degrade over time and are susceptible to water damage and environmental changes due to temperature and humidity. They last around 15 years before they lose enough spring to require replacement. Foam squish floors degrade rapidly and begin to lose their spring from Day 1. Would you expect something of similar quality to your kitchen sponge to have a long use life? Foam floors have a short use life of less than 10 years. By the time a floor must be replaced, what good is it doing for your joints? Take care of your joints over your lifetime and consider the consistency advantages of FiberSprung for your next floor!

SUPPORT

At FiberSprung, we believe lifetime customer support begins with great design. FiberSprung floors are designed to be easily disassembled and repaired. Damage happens in studios sometimes, and it's no one's fault. We make repair as easy as possible. Our fiberglass grid is even designed to withstand water damage, and our floor surface can be lifted within minutes ensuring minimal cost is required to repair a floor. Choose FiberSprung to be your flooring partner for life. In comparison, repair of foam and wood products is costly and sometimes impossible. Foam "squish" floors degrade so rapidly that they can never be properly repaired because it is impossible to source foam degraded exactly the same age as each individual floor. Foam "repairs" usually result in a patch of floor which does not match the rest of the floor. Wooden sprung floors are also susceptible to water environmental damage, and they require a lot of time and effort to disassemble and rebuild. We designed our floors with customer support and customer experience over time as a priority. We view our customers as our partners and we'd love to be your flooring partner for your business.
